Making a case for investing in nature-based solutions

In this case study from Tshwane, the authors present a sustainable asset valuation (SAVi) of nature-based infrastructure to mitigate flooding and heat risks in the City of Tshwane, South Africa. Their analysis found that nature-based infrastructure can effectively reduce the cost of stormwater treatment and cooling for buildings, while also improving the quality of the area for residents and other city stakeholders.

Farm Design was responsible for the designing and illustrating of the document.
